Samantha Moore: Junior Herdsman of the Year

This year’s winner has been a member of NALJA since 2014.  She has actively shown her bred and owned cattle and participated in junior activities at every Eastern Regional Junior Limousin Show and Limousin Nationals Show since then.  For three years she served on the NALJA board as a director and as secretary.  Supporting other juniors by helping with their cattle and helping them feel welcome to the association has been one of her favorite parts of showing cattle.  She has played an integral part in winning the Small State Herdsmanship Award for Virginia in 3 different years.

Tyler Speck: Junior Herdsman of the Year

The Limousin breed and the show world family has shaped Tyler into the man he is today, and he hopes to keep giving back to the industry. With the knowledge he has gained, he tries to pass what he was taught down to the younger generations and help anyone that needs it along the way.

Abby will continue her journey raising show heifers for future showmen. With her knowledge gained throughout the time she has been showing cattle as a junior member and 4-H, she has tried to pass what she was taught down to the younger generations and help anyone that needs it.
